1. General
   EuroherbsPharmacy attaches great importance to protecting your privacy, the security of your personal data and your medication records. In order to provide you with good pharmaceutical care, we record your contact details and pharmaceutical information. We do this in accordance with the provisions of the Medical Treatment Agreement Act (WGBO) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 2. Use of personal data
   We use your data solely for the provision of pharmaceutical care and the associated administrative tasks, and we take appropriate measures to protect your data against unauthorised access by third parties. We will retain your data for as long as is necessary to provide our care, for as long as we are required by law to retain your data, and for as long as is necessary to carry out research into potential new drug therapies. After this period, we will delete your data at your request. We share data with other healthcare providers, such as GPs, specialists, dentists, vets, pharmacies, hospitals, physiotherapists, phytotherapists, acupuncturists, orthomolecular therapists, homeopaths, anthroposophists, and other naturopathic doctors and therapists. We do this via secure systems and only where necessary in connection with a current healthcare need or with your consent. If data has been obtained with your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent. Our staff will only access your data where this is necessary for them to carry out their duties. By using our services, you automatically give our staff permission to access your data. All EuroherbsPharmacy staff are bound by a duty of confidentiality to safeguard your privacy. We ask for your consent before we make your medication details available to hospitals, GPs and other pharmacies.
3. Security
   We have engaged IT suppliers to maintain and manage our information systems. We have carefully selected these suppliers and entered into clear agreements with them regarding confidentiality and security. Furthermore, security measures are implemented in accordance with NEN 7510 – a standard for information security in the healthcare sector. Should third parties gain unauthorised access to your data, despite our measures, we will report this to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
4. Cookies
   EuroherbsPharmacy uses cookies to improve its services and website. When you visit the website, this is registered using a cookie. Cookies are small files that your browser stores on your computer’s hard drive. You can disable cookies in your web browser, although this may limit the functionality and ease of use of the website. Cookies enable us to tailor our website to our customers’ needs and preferences.
5. Your rights, including the right to access and amend your data
   You have the right to access your data. If it transpires that information about you is incorrect or incomplete, you have the right to request that we correct, supplement or delete your data. In such cases, it may not be possible to comply (fully) with a request (for example, if your request to access the data would infringe on the privacy of others). 6. Complaints
   If you have any complaints or compliments regarding the way in which we process your data, please contact our Data Protection Officer. If you are unable to reach a resolution with our Data Protection Officer, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority. 7. Amendments to the privacy policy
   EuroherbsPharmacy may amend this privacy policy. You can view the current privacy policy on this website at any time. EuroherbsPharmacy advises you to do so in any case before you provide personal data to EuroherbsPharmacy.
